Perform these steps to enable or disable AppSocket using
telnet from a Windows or Unix OS. Some DocuPrint
network printers do not support telnet. For these printers,
change the AppSocket setting from the Control Panel as
described in the previous section.
Telnet only works if the device is on the same subnet as the
host (i.e. computer or workstation).
1 Open a telnet session.
Windows: Open a MS-DOS window, type telnet
x.x.x.x[Enter], where x.x.x.x is the IP address
Unix: Type telnet hostname in a shell

Type ![Enter] and then yes[Enter] to enter monitor mode.
3 Select the Network Protocols Menu, N[Enter].
4 Select the TCP/IP Options Menu, T[Enter].
5 Select the Socket Options Menu, S[Enter].
6 Type y[Enter].

Select y [Enter] to enable or n [Enter] to disable
AppSocket (TCP Sockets)
8 Type [Enter].
9 Select X [Enter] to exit this menu or end the telnet
session.
