4. If you are not operating the unit for a prolonged time, pull the plug
from the electric socket for the sake of safety.
5. Do not attempt to turn the unit off when it is operating by pulling
the plug or tripping a circuit breaker – the resulting sparks may
cause a fire.
6. The power plug should be firmly inserted into the electric socket. A
loose connection can become the cause of electric shock, overheating
or even ignition.
7. Do not entangle, jam or pull at the power cable – this may damage it.
A faulty power cable can become the cause of electric shock or fire.
8. Do not use extension cables or connect the AC unit to the same socket
to which other loads are connected.
9. Should any malfunctions occur, first shut the AC down with the remote
control unit (RC) and only then disconnect it from power supply.
10. Do not touch the moving flaps. They can jam your fingers; besides
this can cause the damage to the flap mechanism.
11. Do not touch the buttons on the indoor unit with wet hands.
12. Never insert sticks or other objects in the openings on the unit body
while it operates – this can cause injury or damage the unit.
13. Do not place any objects (especially vessels with water or any other
liquids) on the indoor or outdoor units.
14. Do not wash the unit with water – this can cause electric shock.
15. If the unit is operated simultaneously with open flame equipment
(gas cookers, etc.) the room should be frequently aired. Insufficient
ventilation may cause oxygen deficiency.
16. It is not allowed to direct the exhaust air stream at gas burners
an cookers.
17. Never allow children to play with the unit.
WARNING!
– Do not install the init in areas where it can be exposed to direct
sunlight.
– Do not block the air intake or exhaust openings – this will reduce the
cooling or heating capacity or cause the unit to fail.
– Prolonged exposure to a stream of cold air may impair your physical
condition and cause health problems.
– Air the room after using the unit.
– Close the doors and windows during AC operation, otherwise the
cooling or heating capacity of the unit will be reduced.
– Do not install this unit in rooms with high humidity or in areas where
aggressive chemical vapors are discharged!
– Immediately disconnect the unit from power supply if its power cable
or any other part or assembly becomes damaged. In case of power
cable damage it should be replaced, to avoid dangerous situations,
by the Manufacturer, a service centre or similar skilled personnel. In
case of unauthorized attempt at repairing the unit, or if the operating
instructions set forth in the present manual are not observed, the
Manufacturer's warranty will become void.
– The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mental-
ly handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without
sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under
supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by
the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let
children play with the appliance.
– Special AC unit transportation (shipment) or sale instructions: outdoor
AC units shall ONLY be transported in the upright position; indoor
units may be placed vertically or horizontally during transportation.
Improper handling during transportation can cause damage (kinking)
to the tubes, as well as oil overflow within the coolant circuit. All these
factors can lead to operating malfunctions and premature failure
of the equipment. Should an outdoor unit have been transported in
a horizontal position (transportation in the upside down position is
not allowed in any circumstances!), it should be kept in the upright
position for several hours before installation, without removing it
from the factory packaging.
ATTENTION!
– This air conditioner system shall only be used for domestic purposes!
– Immediately disconnect the unit from power supply in case of any
extraordinary condition (smell of burning, unusual noise, etc.).
– Risk of electric shock! Never try to repair the unit by yourself – this
can cause electric shock.
