7. Maximum Course Error for Proportional Correction for RFU mode only
(Range – 2 to 180)
It sets the maximum course error that is taking in account for calculating the
rudder position. For instance, if it is set to 15, the and the vessel is 40o out
from the course, the control will drive the rudder to the same position as if it
was 15o out. It limits the speed of turn of the boat.
8. Dead band (Range – 0 to 5)
This is the angle limit in degrees, to the both sides of the course direction,
for which the autopilot will consider that the boat is on the course. If the boat
direction is out of these limits, the autopilot will correct it.
9. Serial Output (HDT, HDM, HDG)
Serial Output is factory set to output the HDT heading sentence. HDG, HDT,
HDM, and THS sentences can also be selected
10. PID parameters
The Integral and the Derivative gains can be set using the "Other Ctrls Menu".
