When a PCSS special mode of operation is to be selected with the press brake, it is necessary
to activate the physical input. The special mode input connection is shown in
the FIO04. A command is also required to be sent from the CNC press controller or an input to
the Kernel Software Interface to be set in the ISaGRAF application for the adjustment,
endurance or robot mode operation to be enabled by the PCSS.
Warning:
In no other circumstances should this input be engaged unless a special mode of
operation is required to be selected, as the operator may be unprotected, which
could therefore result in serious injury. The necessary precautions appropriate to
the special mode selection should also be taken as needed to prevent any operator
injury.
