START-UP: CASE OPERATION / CASE LIGHTS / LIGHT SWITCH THERMOMETER

Display Case Start-Up
1. Case Operation
• Case will power-up when properly field wired.
•
Lift deck to check that coil fans are running.
•
See MAINTENANCE: BRACKET RETAINERS /
SHELF ASS'Y / DRAIN / TXV / FANS / VALVES
section in this manual for view of coil fans after
deck pans have been raised/removed.
• Coil fans should be on and rotating.
2. Case Lights
• When no light switch is provided, LED lights will
power-up when properly field wired.
• See illustration below-left for light switch.
• Top-right illustration shows LED light location for
Model GHSSCD336RLB.5744.
• Below-right illustration shows LED light
locations for Model GHSSCD636RLB.
• Your particular model's LED light location may
differ.
3. Thermometer
• Thermometer is located at rear plenum on
refrigerated merchandisers.

• Thermometers reflect internal air temperature
only (not actual food temperature).
• Use probe thermometers to determine actual
product temperatures.
