1.3 Leveling and Orientation Controls

Setup and adjustment is provided through controls on the outside of the
unit. These controls allow leveling and orientation of the 151D.
Bubble Level
Leveling feet

Orientation: The orientation line is used to orientate the seismometer in the
North and South direction.
Bubble Level: The Bubble Level is used to check the level of the
Seismometer as leveling adjustments are made.
Adjustable Feet: Three Adjustable Feet are provided to level the
seismometer. Use the Locknut to lock each adjustable foot after the
instrument is level.
Connector: The Connector is used to connect the equipment cable to the
seismometer.
