When the black letter on the white paper is used as a key
signal source for the downstream keyer or external key, the
edge of the horizontal and vertical blanking pulses may
appear on the screen on some black and white cameras. In
such acase, turn the volume to change the masking value so
that the pulse disappears from the screen.
Adjust the mask of downstream keyer by the DSK MASK
volume on the 5 SD-10 board, and adjust the mask of external
key by the E.KEY MASK volume on the 4 WF-15 board.
in normal operation, this adjustment is not required.

The ratio of the height to the width of the wipe pattern can be
adjusted with the H WIPE volume and the V WIPE volurne on
the 4 WF-15 board. Only the ratio of the black pattems in the
supplied "WIPE PATTERN LIST" (pattern on page €2 of this
manual) can be adjusted. However the ratio of the pattems of
pattem code 300 through 307 cannot be adjusted.

1 Set the WIPER MODE selector to FIX.
2 Tum the H WIPE volume to adjust the width of the pattern,
or turn the V WIPE volume to adjust the height of the
pattern.
When the WIPER MODE switch is returned to NOR, the
standard ratio can be obtained.
e When the wipe patter is extremely changed from the
standard, the screen may not be wiped completely.
