Adjust the phases, video level, hue, chroma level, etc., of the
connected cameras and VTRs.
1 Adjust the phases of all equipment as follows.
1) Turn the power of all equipment on.
2) Tum the SEG-2550/2550P on.
3) Set the PGM/PST selectorto PGM.
4) Set the INDICATION selector to PHASE.
The phase indication lines will appear on the preset
monitor screen.

5) Press the 1 button of the PST select buttons.
6) Turn the H phase control on the equipment connected
to the VIDEO IN 1 connectorso that the left and right H
phase indicators appear.

7) Turn the SC phase control on the same equipment so
that the SC phase indicator moves to the left; when it

two lines, the right one moving to the right.
8) Turn the SC phase control so that the right line moves to
the left to become one line with the left tine.
The adjustment of the phases of the equipment
connected to the VIDEO IN 1 connecior is finished.
* For the equipment connected to the VIDEO IN 2 through
8 connectors, repeat steps 5), 6), 7) and 8).
* Be sure to adjust the H phase first, then the SC phase.

2 Adjust the color of the video monitors.
Use the color bars generated by the video camera or the
camera contro! unit to adjust the hue so that the same
color will be obtained on all video monitors.
3 Adjust the level—video output level, pedestal level, chroma
level, hue, etc.—of all equipment so that the same level is
obtained.
