INDICATION selector
Selects what Is displayed on the preset monitor.
DSP: The data of the E-File are displayed together with the
picture selected by the PST bus select button.
OFF: The picture selected by the PST bus select button is
displayed. In normal operation, use this position.
PHASE:
ForSCand H phase adjustment betweeen the SEG
output signal and the extemal sync signal. When the
PGMI/PST selector is set to PGM, the phase indication
pattern will appear on the preset monitor screen. Use this
patten as a guide for phase adjustment.

A busiB bus select buttons
Select the pictures used for wipe, mixing and external key.
Pictures can be selected by A bus select buttons and B bus
select buttons separately.
On the monitor screen, the picture selected by the bus to
which the EFF lever is positioned is displayed.
The buttons 1 through 8 correspond to the VIDEO IN 1
through 8 connectors on the connector panel. When a button
is pressed, the picture connected to the corresponding
connector is selected.
When the BACKGROUND buttons pressed, the signal
generated by the built-in background color generator is
output. The color of the background is adjusted by the
BACKGROUND selector and the BACKGROUND COLOR
stick and LUM control.

Selects the background when the BACKGROUND button of
the A bus or B bus select buttons is pressed.
WHT:
White background
COL:
Color background selected by the BACKGROUND
COLOR stick
BLK:
Black background
EFF (effect) lever
The A bus picture is gradually replaced with the B bus picture,
or vice versa when the MIX or WIPE button is engaged. When
the lever is moved to the uppermost position, the A bus
picture will be obtained, and when the lever is moved to the
lowermost position, the B bus picture will be obtained.
The torque of the lever can be adjusted. For details, refer to
"ADJUSTING THE TORQUE OF THE LEVERS".
