Symptom
The press has stopped rotating and it
emits an acoustic signal in 1 second
intervals.
The Wartmann® nut oil press stops
after 45 minutes of continuous opera-
tion.
Smoke is coming out of the Wart-
mann® nut oil press.

Possible cause
The press screw has been blocked due
to low moisture or low fat amount in
the raw product.
The used raw product is not suitable
for pressing, due to dryness, hardness
or contamination with sand/debris
The Wartmann® nut oil press is over-
heated.
The Wartmann® nut oil press is over-
heated or broken.
Solution
Try using the REVERSE program, if the
screw still won't budge – switch off the
appliance, unscrew the nut and switch
it on again choosing any program.
The screw should push out the item
that caused the blockage.
Remove the raw product from the de-
vice and clean all elements thoroughly
before starting a new oil extraction.
Don't use the same raw product for
pressing.
Wait 30 minutes until the Wartmann®
nut oil press is cooled off. Then
remove the power plug from the wall
socket for at least 10 seconds. Retry.
Immediately take the plug out of the
socket, let the Wartmann® nut oil
press cool down and have it repaired.
