Symptom
Dry press cake is coming out of the
Wartmann® nut oil press, but no oil.
Soggy press cake is coming out of the
Wartmann® nut oil press, but no oil is
extracted.
The Wartmann® nut oil press has
stopped while there are still plenty of
nuts or seeds in the funnel.
Possible cause
Something is blocking the inlet at the
bottom of the funnel.
The (pieces of) nuts are too large for
the entrance opening.
The pressing has just started.
The nuts are not suitable for pressing.
The oil flow is blocked.
The nuts were not sufficiently dried, or
are not suitable for pressing.
You may have accidentally hit the
pause button. The Pause indicator is
lit.
Solution
Press the Start/Stop button. Then hold
the reverse button for 5 seconds. Press
Start/Stop again to stop the reverse
motion.
.Break the nuts in smaller pieces and
try again.
Wait a few minutes.
Use nuts that are suitable for pressing
(such as unroasted nuts).
Remove the press screw and shaft.
Clean the shaft and check that the
circular slits are open.
Use nuts that are suitable for pressing
(such as dried nuts).
Press the Pause button again.
