Battery Connected
To verify proper battery connection, remove the seat by unscrewing the 2
screws underneath with a 5 mm Allen key. Ensure the battery is securely
screwed down with two screws, eliminating any play. Verify the black 8-pin
connector atop the battery is correctly aligned and locked by screwing
the latch on the battery connector. The battery can remain connected for
extended periods, such as during storage, provided the master switch is off.
To start your CAKE Kalk&, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure that your bike is charged and that the charger is removed
from the bike as it won't turn on otherwise. Don't forget to attach the
plastic protective cover on the charging port to avoid dirt getting into the
connector.
2. Make sure that the battery is connected properly (read battery
connected info above)
3. Make sure that the steering lock, and any other locks being used have
been unlocked.
4. Put the key into the display and turn the bike on.
5. Put the red kill switch on the kill switch holder on the handlebar (see
chapter "2.2 Controls and Power modes").
6. Wait for the display to load, when fully loaded, press the upper white
button on the display.
7. The bike is now active and ready to ride. To indicate this, a sound is
produced every 5 seconds when it's turned on but idle, reminding you
and others that the bike is turned on.

2.4 How to change the PIN

We advise you to change the PIN to personalize your bike and avoid theft.
Once the PIN has been changed, write it down and don't lose it. If you would
lose or forget your PIN code has to be reset by the CAKE service team.
Your PIN can consist of either 3 or 6 digits. The available digits are 1, 2, or 3. A
PIN can for example be "131", "113", "132212" or "123321".
