3. Regular inspection and Maintenance
3.1 Before each ride
To make sure that your bike is always in good condition and avoid injury or
damage, please make sure to always take care of your CAKE Kalk& bike by the
following steps.
•
Check the angle of your mirrors.
•
Try your turn signals, head light, rear light, braking light and horn.
•
Check the wheels (see 3.3 Wheels and tires).
•
Check the condition and tension of the chain.
•
Clean your bike (see Chapter 5.2 - Cleaning).
•
Check the suspension.
•
Check that the headset is properly tightened.
•
Check that the brakes are functioning properly by doing a brake test.
