Avoiding or using route sections, e.g. motorways
or ferries
Activate or deactivate the avoid option.

Avoid: the option is activated. The route avoids
motorways, for example.
Use: the option is deactivated. The route takes
motorways into consideration, for example.

The selected route options cannot always be
taken into account. Therefore, a route may
include a ferry, for instance, even though the
Avoid ferries avoid option is enabled. A mes-
sage then appears and you will hear a corre-
sponding message.
Avoiding or using toll roads
The use of toll roads requires a usage fee (toll).

which require you to pay a time-based fee

Avoiding or using areas with low emission zones

The function is available when there is an
active internet connection.
Activate or deactivate Area with low emission

zones.
Avoid: the option is activated. The route avoids
all low emission zones restricted for the vehi-
cle. These are displayed in red on the map.
Use: the option is deactivated. The restricted
low emission zones for the vehicle are passed
through on the route. A warning is displayed
before you drive into a low emission zone.
