• Engine running, gear »N«, vehicle standstill
– Switch off the engine and open the driver's door.
• The following message must appear in the dash panel in‐
sert: "Engage P-position before getting out, otherwise the
vehicle can roll off."
• An acoustic signal must also sound.

– Push in the wedge -T10383/1- -2- under the switch cover -1-
and release the locks by lifting it.
– Lift cover -1- upwards over the handle.
