Installation:

1. It is recommended to mount the CO2 sensor
on a wall close to the CO2 source, with a
minimum distance of 50 cm. It is not
advisable to place the sensor directly over the
CO2 source if that source can reach very high
temperatures (CO2 generator). The sensor
must be placed about 1 meter above the fl oor.
2. Also, do not place the sensor in the immediate
air current of ventilators as this can infl uence
the measurements.
3. Also mount the T-2 Pro controller on the wall
with the enclosed bracket or DIN-rail.
4. Connect the sensor(s) to the right side of the
T-2 Pro with the supplied (UTP-) cable(s).
5. Plug the CO2 source into the outlet of the
T-2 Pro.
6. Plug the fan into the outlet of the T-2 Pro.
7. Plug the T-2 Pro into a 230 V outlet.
8. Ready!
Connecting the controllers and sensors:
All of the TechGrow Pro Series controllers and
sensors (except for the Temp probe) are
connectable to each other to guarantee an
optimal climate. It is possible to connect the
controllers to each other, so that you can control
your entire climate with merely the use of ONE
TechGrow S-4 sensor.
Since each device has 3 UTP connectors it is also
possible to connect for example, a Datalogger
DL-1 and/or an AM-T sms Notifi er.
Make sure that the controller is disabled before
you connect the sensor(s) to prevent any
disruptions. The sensor can be plugged into any
UTP connector.
Which sensors can be connected to the
T-2 Pro?
The minimal sensor required is an S-2 sensor.
The S-4 measures CO2-, temperature-, and
humidity values and detects light simultaneously.
Connecting extra sensors or other
devices:
Connecting an extra sensor is not required for the
T-2 Pro. A S-4 sensor suffi ces to enable optimum
functioning of the T-2 Pro.
ATTENTION: NEVER connect two of the same
type of sensors to your controller!!
For example: an S-4 sensor can never be
connected with a Temp/RH sensor
simultaneously.
Automatic functions of the T-2 Pro:
If there are no sensors connected to the T-1 Pro
the following will appear on the
display: **NO TMP, RH or CO2 SENSOR**.
The backlight of the display will turn off
automatically after 60 seconds of no activity.
Only when the Push & Turn Button (PTB) is
pushed or turned, the backlight will turn on again.
No CO2 is emitted when it is dark. This is why
you should make sure that the sensor can directly
detect the light source.
If the CO2 sensor is not detected, no CO2 is
emitted.
Operating the T-2 Pro:
The T-2 Pro maintains the CO2 level during the
day and extracts CO2 if the value gets too high.
No extra CO2 is extracted during the day.
Temperature and humidity are always regulated.
If you do not want the T-2 Pro to respond to the
temperature, you can easily bypass this by setting
the temperature values very high, for instance at
40 degrees.
Meaning of the LED
Light detected: light indicator (under PTB).
Box: Off = fan is off . On: Fan is rotating.
Short fl ash: Fan speed is being adapted.
OK: LED is green if the CO2 value is between
(set + hysteresis) and (set - hysteresis), and
the temperature is between (set + hysteresis)
and (set - hysteresis).
CO2: LED is red when CO2 is emitted (if the
CO2 heater/source is on).
