3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Purpose of use

This pump is primarily designed for pumping service water from wells, rainwater tanks, manholes and for the
operation of irrigation systems.
The appliance is intended for private household use and is not suitable for professional applications.
It is not suitable for work with waste water in sewage systems, salt water, aggressive or easily combustible
substances, for work in food processing or as a pump for water jets on garden ponds.
It is not designed for pumping drinking water!
NOTE: Before using the submersible pump, please first carefully read all the safety instructions and
instructions for use for the pump. Only after reading these instructions will you be able to safely and reliably
use all the functions of the pump. You must conform to all local regulations in force in your country. These
regulations are effective together with the particulars specified in these instructions.
ATTENTION! If you will be using the pump near pools or garden ponds, or in their protective zone, the
electrical grid must be equipped with a circuit breaker.
The pump must not be used if there are people in the pool or garden pond! Also do not use it if there are
fishes or other living creatures in the pool or garden pond.
The submersible pump is designed to pump water at a maximum temperature of 35°C.
The pump must not be used for other liquids, particularly motor oils, cleaning agents and other chemical
products!

4. PUTTING INTO OPERATION

1. Connecting the hose
1" and ¾" hose can be connected to the pump as standard. After cutting the hose barb, a ½" hose can also
be connected using a ¾ screw union and a standard quick coupling
¾" hose connection (Fig.2)
Screw the threaded coupling into the pump (Fig. 2, point 1) and connect the hose barb (Fig. 2, point 2).
The hose must be secured to the barb with a tightening strap (Fig. 2, point 3)

First, cut the ¾-hose connection from the hose barb.
Screw the threaded coupling into the pump (Fig. 3, point 1) and connect the hose barb (Fig. 3, point 2).
The hose must be secured to the barb with a tightening strap (Fig. 3, point 3)
½" hose connection via quick coupling
Screw the threaded coupling into the pump (Fig. 4, point 1) and connect the standard hose connection (Fig.
4, point 2). You can then use a standard quick coupler (Fig. 4, point 3)
