The following shows the setting example of ODBC setting in the following conditions.

TNS Service Name

*1 A data source name can be set arbitrary.
The name set in this setting is used as a name to be entered for "Data Source Name" under "Target Server Individual Settings" in "Target
Server Settings."
*2 The TNS service name is a name for accessing an Oracle database.
It is the one entered when installing Oracle or creating database instances.
It can be checked by selecting [Configuration and Migration Tools]  [Net Manager]  "Service Naming" in the Oracle attachment tool.

Start ODBC Data Source Administrator.

Select the [System DSN] tab and click the [Add] button.

Select "Oracle in OraClient12Home1", and click the
[Finish] button.
4.
Set the following items and click the [Test Connection]
button.
• Data Source Name: SAMPLE
• TNS Service Name: SAMPLETNS
• Enable Closing Cursors: Select
5.
Enter a user name and password, and click the [OK]
button.
6.
When the connection is established normally, the
"Testing Connection" screen will appear.
7.
Click the [OK] button in the "Oracle ODBC Driver
Connect" screen.
8.
Click the [OK] button in the "ODBC Data Source
Administrator" screen.
