Note
- No image is shown while the exposure and focus are being set.
- Once the exposure and focus are set, the "STANDBY" message appears
on the LCD monitor.
Without lifting your finger off,
press the shutter button down
fully.
®The buzzer sounds when the picture has
been taken.
® While the image data is being recorded
onto the SmartMedia, the viewfinder LED
turns orange. You cannot take pictures
while the lamp is orange (approx. 5
seconds).
@When recording is completed, the buzzer
sounds and the number of shots available

shown on the LCD panel decreases by 1.
J IMPORTANT
» Moving the camera when you press the shutter button (camera shake) will result in
a biurred image. Brace your elbows and hold the camera in both hands.
+ If you press the shutter button down fully in one movement, the camera may not
take a picture. If this happens, release the shutter button briefly and take the
picture again by repeating steps 6 and
+ Always switch your camera off before inserting or removing a SmartMedia card.
* Never open the SmartMedia cover or remove the SmartMedia while an image is
being recorded. This may corrupt the data on the SmartMedia or damage the
SmartMedia itself.
