Switch the camera off.

If the camera is on, slide the POWER button

in the direction of the arrow and then release

it.

Remove the SmartMedia.

@ Slide the SmartMedia cover release lever

in the direction of the arrow to open the

SmartMedia cover.

@ Grip the SmartMedia with your fingertips

and pull it out.

@ Close the SmartMedia cover.

VIMPORTANT

- Always switch the camera off before removing or inserting a SmartMedia card.

+ Never open the SmartMedia cover or remove the SmartMedia while image data is

being recorded onto or played back from the SmartMedia. This can damage the

data on the SmartMedia or damage the SmartMedia itself.
