With the LCD monitor on: Approx. 100
With the LCD monitor off: Approx. 230
Switch the camera off as quickly as possible when it is not being used.
When the battery runs low, the 1—3 battery symbol appears on the LCD monitor.
Load a fully charged battery as soon as possible. To charge the battery, use the
PDR-ACM1 AC Adapter or the BC-100 Battery Charger (sold separately).
Note
If you load an exhausted battery and switch the camera on, the camera beeps
after the lens moves forward and the lens then moves back again.
Connecting the AC Adapter to Charge the Battery
Plug the power adapter into an
AC outlet.
Plug the PDR-ACM1 AC Adapter into an AC
outlet.
* The shapes of the plug and socket-outlet
depends on the country of use.
Plug the power adapter into the
DC IN 5V socket on the camera.
Insert the plug of the AC adapter into the DC
IN 5V socket on the camera.
® After about 4 seconds, the viewfinder LED
turns
orange
and
charging
begins
automatically.
@ The viewfinder LED glows orange during
charging and then goes off when charging
is complete. See "Viewfinder LED" (=p
P.77)
for more
information
on
the
viewfinder lamp displays.
@ it takes about 7 hours to recharge a fully
discharged battery.
