To use your PDR-M3
Digital Camera, you need an NP-100 rechargeable
battery (included) or the PDR-ACM1 AC Adapter (included).
Loading the Battery
Use the procedure below to load the NP-100 rechargeable battery into the camera.
Open the battery cover.
@ Slide the battery cover outwards.
@ Open the battery cover.
Insert the battery.
@ Insert the battery with the arrow [Y] on the
end pointing downwards.
® Push the battery in until it stops.
Close the battery cover.
Check that the battery cover is firmly closed.
IMPORTANT
' The battery is not fully charged at shipment. You must charge the battery before
you use it.
- When replacing the battery, always switch the camera off beforehand.
- If you remove the battery without switching the camera off, the date and time
revert to the default settings. (=P.25)
