3.5.2.2 Standard/Extended Character Generator
(W3)
When the standard character generator PROM is
fitted (type 2716) the jumper W3 must link the
centre and right hand pins (see Fig 3.3). When
extended character generator is used (type 2732)
the jumper must link the centre and left hand
pins.

3.5.2.3 Production Test (W4)
This jumper is used only during production. It
must not be fitted during normal operation.
3.5.2.4 Disable/Enable Save (W5)
The user may prevent the operator saving alterna
tive Set-up parameter values (using the SAVE
function) by removing the jumper W4. When this
jumper is fitted the SAVE function works as de-
scribed in section 5.
