Intended use This traction/stretch device is made for use together with a hand traction device model “Weinberger”, when a patient with broken wrist or forearm shall be treated. The traction device is to be attached into the square tube frame of the arm & hand operating table and the “Weinberger unit shall be mounted on the short rail on the ball joint.

The Weinberger traction unit (10-393) is attached to the short rail on the ball joint by pushing the clamp on the unit on to the rail and lock it by turning the knob on the clamp anticlockwise. The Weinberger traction unit can be turned, and angle adjusted ±40° in any direction by unlocking the ball joint.

Annual Service Once a year the hand fixation shall be carefully cleaned, threading’s shall be lubricated, the locking function shall be tested.
