4. Select the location identified as 3 or 4 on the NDE side (see in below figure)
for better signal quality from the sensor and for correct estimation of motor
speed.

Mount the MFS
The MFS or magnetometer is covered with a plastic case. The MFS enclosure can
be mounted directly on to the motor using glue.
To mount the MFS, do the below steps:
1.
Remove any paint on the surface by grinding, so the sensor can be glued directly
onto the metal of the motor.
2. Apply Loctite® 407™/AA326™ glue with the activator onto the motor surface.
