Correct mounting

Commission the MACHsense-R

The commissioning process involves the setting up of asset details in the ABB
Ability™ Digital Powertrain portal and adding it to the MACHsense-R unit, so the
collected data can be visible on the ABB Ability™ Digital Powertrain portal
Powertrain Dashboard.
To commission the MACHsense-R, do the below steps:
1. Download the ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor mobile application through Google
play store or the Apple App Store. For China users, use the ABB App store for
Android.

2. Install the mobile application and register a new account in ABB system or
login with your ABB account.
3. Create a new organization or join an existing organization.
4. Add the new asset to the selected organization and follow the instructions in
the mobile app.
