In cases with rotational loads, the distance of the product to the instant center plays an important role. In addition, in case of rotational movements, the position of the swiveling component to be damped can influence the impact angle in the impact point and in the end position. The piston rod is subject to a load because the lateral forces are dissipated by the pin guide. If the maximum stroke is reached, the pin sits on the fixed stop of the product and thus fulfills the function of the integrated fixed stop. The pin protrudes from the pin guide in this process to ensure an impact angle of 15° in the end position. Use the following setting for rotational applications.
