The boost meter registers at less than 0 po.
sition when the engine is idling or the vehi.
cle is moving at extremely low speeds. When
the engine speed increases, when the tur-
bo charger is opcrating, or when the pres.
sure in the intake rnanifold increases, the
marker on the boosl rrxlter moves to a hioher
than 0 oosition.
CAUTION
When the pressure cx<:r:eds the maximum
positive value showrr On the meter, stop the
vehicle or slow dowrr rrrrtrl the meter reads
normal otherwise, engirrc components could
be damaged if you contirrrre to drive in these
conditions Have the corrrlition checked at
