Main fuse block
lf the headlights or other electrtcal compo-
nents do not work and the fuses in the pas-
senger's compartment are O.K., check the
main fuses In the engine compartment open
the cover over the main fuses by lifting the
tab on the cover end Then tilt the cover up
and away ll a fuse is melted, it must be
reolaced.
Replaclng a maln fuse
When replacing a fuse, make sure the rgni-
tion switch is otl. For all main fuses EXCEPT
the 100A central frrse, pull the blown fuse
straight up and oul, Push a new one in place
For the 100A fuse, see the following note
NOTE
When replacing the 100A fuse, follow these
steps:
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the nuts 1, holding the fuse
block, to gain access to the 100A fuse
bolts 2. Remove as in the illustration.
