    They calculate the surface temperature based on the emitted infrared energy of objects (see chapter 10 Basics of Infrared Thermometry). The TIN-SS sensing head is a sensitive optical system. Please use only the thread for mechanical installation.  Avoid abrupt changes of the ambient temperature.

    The distance is always measured from the front edge of the sensor housing/ CF- lens holder/ air purge.
