LAN Configuration

6.1.1

Introduction

The ASMB-831 has two 10G Base-T LAN connectors LAN1 and LAN2 - Intel ®
X710-AT2. They eliminate the bottleneck of network data flow and incorporate Giga-
bit Ethernet at 10 Gbps.
100/1000 & 10G Base-T Ethernet controller

100/1000 & 10G Base-T triple-speed MAC

Full duplex at 100/1000 Mbps or 10 Gbps and half duplex at 100/1000 Mbps

Wake-on-LAN (WOL) support

The integrated Intel® Gigabit Ethernet controller supports all major network operating
systems. However, the installation procedure varies with different operating systems.
In the following sections, refer to the one that provides the driver setup procedure for
the operating system you are using.
6.1.2

Windows Series Driver Setup

When the folder is displayed, navigate to the "LAN" folder and click the executable
file to complete the installation of the drivers for the OS that you need.
