28.4.1 Edit Agent
Click the Edit icon next to an agent in Maintenance > TR-369 Local Agent > Agent. Use this screen to
configure the required information that the Zyxel Device agent needs to communicate with a controller.

DESCRIPTION
This displays if the Zyxel Device is enabled as an agent.
This is a friendly name for the Zyxel Device.
The Zyxel Device supports the MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol to send messages.
This displays the topic name for the Zyxel Device to receive USP messages.
This displays the MQTT client you configured in the MQTT screen. For example,
Device.MQTT.Client.1.
Click the Edit icon to configure an entry.
Click OK to save your changes.
Click Cancel to restore the screen's last saved settings.
DESCRIPTION
Slide this to the right to enable the Zyxel Device as a TR-369 agent.
Enter a unique name to identify the Zyxel Device acting as an agent to the controller. Please
note the following:
•
The value must not be empty.
•
The value must start with a letter.
•
If the value is not assigned by the controller at creation time, you must assign a value with a
"cpe-" prefix.
•
If the value is not assigned by the controller on creation, you must choose an initial value that
doesn't conflict with any existing entries.
At the time of writing, just the MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol is used by the Zyxel
Deviceto send messages.
