OPERATIONS
1 (Basic Operation)
TO PLAY BACK A CONNECTED COMPONENT.

Muting OFF

Audio adaptor OFF
Video adaptor OFF
1 Turn on the power to the C-90 and to your power
amplifier.
{f your power amplifier has an input selector, set it to amplify
the signal from the C~90.
2 Set the audio input selector switch or the video in-
put
selector
switch
to the component
to be
played back.
[For Audio Components]
Set so that the indicator above the switch lights.
MH To listen to compact discs.
Press [CD].
WM To listen to records
Press [Phono].
Set the PHONO SELECTOR switch to the type of cartridge
used (MM, MC 40Q, MC 32).
If To listen to FM/AM radio broadcasts
Press [Tuner].
@ To play back tape deck 1
Press [Tape 1].
@ To play back tap deck 2
Press [Tape 2].

Subsonic filter OFF
Mode selector OFF
[For Video components]
Set so that both indicators (red, green) above the switch light.
if For video discs playback
Press [VDP].
Wl For VCR 1 playback
Press {VCR 1].
W@ For VCR 2 playback
Press [VCR 2].
MM For VCR 3 playback
Press [VCR 3].
W@ To use the TV tuner
Press [TV tuner].
NOTE:
« When playing back components other than tape deck 1 or tape
deck 2, set [Tape
1] and [Tape 2] to the OFF position fin-
dicators go out}.
« When playing back tape deck 1, set [Tape 2] to OFF.
3 Turn on the power to the components to be used.
When
playing back a video component,
also turn on the
power to your television set or color monitor.
4 Operate
the
playback
component
to
begin
playback.
5 Adjust the sound volume with the volume con-
trol.
