REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
FUNCTION OF THE TRANSMIT MODE
SELECTOR SWITCH
AUDIO:
Select this position for remote control operation of audio equip-
ment such as CD player, tape deck, DAT deck, turntable or tuner.
VIDEO:
Select this position for remote contro! operation of video equip-
ment such.as VDP, VCR or TV.
AUX:
The AUX mode is provided so that you can teach the remote con-
trol unit extra commands in case you have filled up all the keys in
the VIDEO and AUDIO modes. If you do not programmed into any
new commands,
then only the amplifier keys will operate in this
mode. You may wish to use this mode to assign commands for a
second VCR, tape deck etc.
_ ¢ The 1-12 numerical keys are used for DAT, CD, VDP, TV and
tuner operation in both the AUDIO and VIDEO modes.
/@ This unit function keys can be used in ail three modes.
* Among the TV function keys the TV POWER, VCR/VDP/TV in-
put selector and volume UP/DOWN
keys are operative in both
the AUDIO and VIDEO modes.
* The other keys may be assigned commands from your other in-
frared remote control units.
