To listen to the desired audio sound, set the
12bit AUDtO setting of the VCR mode
MENU (Menu OSD: p. 110) as lollowe:
12bit AUDIO:The following seJec'flons are
available for 12 bit AUDIO dubbed
recordings only (sound recorded Jn SP
mode only).
Set this pesiIien to listen to the
sound.
Set this position to listen to the
audio dubbed sound.
• When a _6 bit recording is dubbed over,
the origina{ audio of the recording wi{( be
erased.
• Wher_ a. 12 bit recording is dubbed over
and played back, and MIX iS selected as
the AUDIO, both the odginal audio and
the dubbed audio are played back.
• If you recorded in LP mode, you cannot
use the A.DUB _eature.
Only NTSG (National Television Standards
CommiItea) recorded tapes can be audio
dubbed, The following screen appears if
the tape was not recorded inNTSC format.
SPrees I I (PAUSE) to stop Audio
Dubbing.
• If the microphone used for dubbing gets
too near the speaker of your TV,
a howling noise (feedback) may occur.
• If the tape position is in or was started in a
blank secf_or_,you cannot use the A.DUB
feature.

O Prees MENU to exit MENU mode.
Then, press RESET on the remote
co.tel to reset the Oeunte_ Memoni
to M 0:O0.00.
Now, rewind to the editing start point,
and continue with steps 2-5. The tape will
now stop automatically at "M 0:00.00 _'.
