TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING
Only perform the steps described within these instructions! All further inspection, maintenance and
repair work must be performed by a qualified specialist.
Gloves and appropriate protective clothing must be worn when performing these instructions.
Always turn off the machine and disconnect the plug and wait until the blade stops before making
any adjustment.
PROBLEM
Handles are not in position.
The mower does not start.
The motor stops.
The mower cuts grass unevenly
or motor labours.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The carriage bolts are not
seated properly.
The wing knobs are not
tightened.
The power is off.
The power cord is not
connected to power source.
Tripped circuit breaker in the
house.
Defective switch lever or safety
button.
The grass is too long.
Jammed blade.
The mower is blocked by
foreign object.
The lawn is rough or uneven or
cutting height not set properly.
The blade is blunt.
The blade area is blocked.
The blade is assembled
incorrectly.

SOLUTION
Adjust the height of the handle
and make sure the carriage
bolts are seated properly.
Tighten the wing knobs by
rotating clockwise.
Check the socket, fuse, cable,
wire and plug and have any
repairs carried out by a qualified
electrician.
Connect the power cord to a
power source.
Reset house circuit breaker.
If it trips again, call a qualified
electrician.
Repair by a qualified person.
Set a higher cutting height.
Stop the mower and disconnect
from the power supply, then
remove the blockage.
Remove the foreign object.
Adjust the cutting position to the
height best suited for your lawn.
Replace the blade.
Clean the blade area and
remove the blockage.
Install the blade correctly. Blade
wings should be facing up away
from the ground.
