Preparations
The scaffold shall be securely anchored
A suitable distance between the scaffold plank and the wall is a min. of 250 mm to ensure good access.
Application on a trolley or other moving working platform is not suitable.
The equipment shall in such cases be installed directly on the facade with a facade mount.
Install the equipment on the scaffold post / facade or, where appropriate, on a trolley (accessory).
Make sure that the work area is clean and free of inflammable materials, liquids and gases.
All fumes may contain harmful substances; provide sufficient ventilation and/or use a protective mask.
Always use a protective mask when removing paint from factory-painted woodwork.
Always use work gloves when working with Speedheater.
Connection / Warm-up
Connect the IR heater's cord to a 220 – 240 VAC wall outlet with an earth, min. 10 A.
If an extension cord is used, make sure it is approved both for the load and for the environment to which it is subjected.
Set both power switches to ON and position the heating surface away from combustible surfaces. Once the device is heated and
ready for use, the tubes will shine with a bright orange colour; this can take a few minutes.
