7.6.1

Replacement

This section covers unlikely case if battery replacement. The original battery
was soldered to the back PCB, which is located at the back side of the in-
strument housing. Any standard LiPoFe4, size 18650, battery can be used
instead. Try to find a battery with soldering pads already fixed.
To replace the battery:
1. Remove both sides of the instrument housing.
2. Remove the back side.
3. Disassemble the connector board.
4. Cut cable ties.
5. Desolder battery pads and remove the old battery.
6. Insert and solder the new battery. Take care about polarity.
7. Fix it with new cable ties.
8. Assemble the instrument in the reverse order.
