» Increasing two or more edge stitches
(1) Bring out the empty needles
required
to be inc-
reased
to D position on the side with the carriage
on.
2. Take the heel of the third stitch and place it on the
empty needle to increase one stitch.
(2) Wind the knitting yarn loosely around
each of the
needles
behind
the open
latch.
(Wind in counter-
clockwise direction for increasing on right edge, and
in clockwise direction for increasing on left edge.)
Note:
The illustration shows
another way of forming
a new stitch.
(3) Set the Russel
lever to RIGHT
position
and
knit
across.
