PROPER USE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Remove the tool, install the lithium battery, press and hold the power switch for three seconds and then let go. After hearing the sound of two drops, it
means the battery is powered up properly.
2. Quickly press down the trigger twice; the blade opens automatically.
3. Before doing any work, press the trigger to operate the blade blank for several times and listen for any unusual noise or observe if the blade runs unusually
slow or fast. If everything appears to be running properly, start working.
4. To switch off, press the trigger and release it after you hear the sound of two drops. The blade will close automatically.
Notes
• When using the tool continuously for a long time, there is a possibility of overheating. Make sure that you use the tool correctly.
• After completing any seasonal pruning work or when replacing the blade, you should remove the blade and add lubricating oil between the blade for
maintenance.
Battery charging
The battery of the new product is not fully charged. To charge it, insert the battery into the charger and plug the charger into a power outlet. The charger's
indicator light turns red, which shows that the battery is charging. When the charger indicator light turns green, the battery is fully charged and you can then
use it.
Precautions
1. While charging, it is normal for the charger and/or battery to heat up slightly.
2. If the batteries are not used for a long time, they should be recharged every 3 months for a longer lifespan.
3. New batteries or batteries that have not been used for a long time require 5 times longer charging time to reach maximum capacity.
4. Do not charge batteries repeatedly after a few minutes of operation, as this can reduce battery life and efficiency
5. Do not use damaged batteries and do not disassemble the charger or batteries.
6. Batteries contain flammable materials, keep away from flame/heat. (Risk of explosion!)
7. Do not charge batteries outdoors or in a humid environment.
8. With the gradual reduction of the battery load, it is normal for the maximum cutting diameter to decrease.
9. Do not use the electric pruning shears while charging.
Blade oiling
Disconnect the power to the scissors before such a task
Re-apply lubricant before using the blades or after using them for more than 4 hours.
1. Keep the blades open and add 1-2 drops of lubricant to the connection between the moving and fixed
blade (as shown in the picture)
2. Open and close the blade several times to evenly distribute the lubricant.
Blade tension adjustment
Disconnect the power to the scissors before such a task
Keep the blades open and check for lateral swings. Lateral swing is an abnormal condition, which creates a gap between the two blades, leading to the gear
teeth not being able to bite properly, which can damage the mechanical structure. The blade needs to be locked (not too tight).
