Use extreme care when giving
rescue breathing to a victim
who possibly has breathed-in
toxic fumes. Do not breathe-in
air that the victim has
breathed-out.
Open your mouth wide and take a
deep breath. Make a tight seal with
your mouth' around the victim's
mouth

and blow into it.
5. Remove your mouth and let the
victim breathe out while you check
that the victim's chest

moves
down.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 once every 5
seconds until the victim breathes
normally again or until medical aid
comes.
