• Make sure that the appliance is disconnected
from the mains and has cooled down.
• Set the temperature control to min/off and the
steam control to "no steam". (
)
• Open the cover and poor water from the cup
into the water inlet - Do not overfill.
• Close the cover and wipe up any spilled water.
SWITCH ON
• Place the iron upright and connect the power
cord to the mains.
• Set the temperature control to the correct
temperature for the fabric.
• During heating, the indicator light is on.
• When the iron reaches the set temperature,
the light will go off. It will then cycle on and
off as the thermostat operates to maintain the
temperature.

STEAM IRONING
If you intend to use steam, it can only be used at
higher ironing temperatures.
• Set the temperature control close to

maximum.
• Set the steam control to "steam". ( / )
• Wait until the indicator light goes off, then start
ironing.
SPRAY
The water spray function can be used at any time
without affecting the ironing temperature.
• Lift the iron off the fabric.
• Aim the spray nozzle on the front of the iron at
the fabric.
• Press the spray button. (You may have to
press a few times to pump water through the
system.)
BURST OF STEAM
This function provides an extra amount of steam
to remove suborn wrinkles.
If you intend to use the steam burst, it can only be
used at high ironing temperatures.
• Lift the iron off the fabric.
• Press the steam burst button. (You may have to
press a few times to pump water through the
system.)
• Wait a few seconds between steam bursts to
allow the steam to build up again.
• By pressing the steam burst button at intervals,
you can iron vertically. This is especially useful
for curtains, hanging garments, etc.
DRY IRONING
• Set the steam control to "no steam". (
)
• Set the temperature control to a setting
appropriate for the garment.
• Wait until the indicator light goes off, then start
ironing.
AFTER USE
• Set the temperature control to minimum (OFF).
• Set the steam control to "no steam". (
)
• Place the iron upright and unplug it.
• Let it cool down completely.
• Open the cover and empty the remaining
water from the tank into a sink.
• Proceed with "CLEANING & MAINTENANCE"
SELF CLEAN
Use the self-clean function once a month to
prevent the formation of limescale deposits. If the
water in your area is very hard, you should use the
self-cleaning more often.
• You will need a sink or a large bowl to catch the
water coming out if the soleplate.
• Make sure the appliance is unplugged.
• Set the steam control to "no steam". (
)
• Fill the tank to maximum level.
• Place the iron upright and connect the power
cord to the mains.
• Select the maximum ironing temperature.
• Wait until the indicator light goes off.
• Hold the iron with soleplate down over the
sink or bowl.
• Press and hold the self-clean button and gently
move the iron back and forth. - Steam and
water will come out of the soleplate. Impurities
and flakes of lime will be flushed out.
• Continue until the water tank is empty.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the appliance from power
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance or power cord in
water. Do not let the electrical parts come into
contact with moisture.
• Clean the housing of the unit with a damp
cloth and then wipe it dry.
• Deposits and other residues on the sole plate
can be removed with a little vinegar.
• Do not use any abrasives to clean the sole
plate!
• Always store the iron in an upright position.
