SECTION 15—CONTRACTURE FOOTREST

Removing/Installing the Contracture Footrest Platform

Removing
1. Remove the two mounting screws that secure the contracture crossbrace to the seat rails.
2. Remove the contracture footrest platform assembly from the wheelchair.
Installing
1. Secure the contracture crossbrace to the seat rails with two mounting screws. Securely tighten.

Assembly/Disassembly of the Contracture Footrest Platform

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 15.2 on page 138.
1. Install plug buttons into crossmember of footrest weldment.
2. Secure the platform and half clamps to the footrest weldment with four
mounting screws. Tighten securely.
3. Insert both tubes of footrest weldment into upper footrest support.
4. Secure footrest weldment in place with two 1
5. Install upper footrest support into footrest bracket.
6. Secure footrest support to footrest bracket at the desired angle with

/ ‐ 20 x 3 / inch mounting screw and two locknuts. Tighten securely.

7. Loosely secure / inch mounting screw to the footrest bracket with locknut.
