Installing the Reclining Back

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 14.4 on page 136.
1. Remove seating system. Refer to the seating system Ownerʹs Manual for installation and removal.
2. Remove the trigger release lever with cable from the back cane. Refer to Removing/Installing the Trigger Release Lever
with Cable on page 97.
3. Repeat STEP 1 for remaining back cane.
4. Remove the stroller handle. Refer to Installing/Removing Non‐Adjustable Angle Stroller Handles on page 33 or
Installing/Removing Adjustable Angle Stroller Handle on page 33.
5. Remove the rigidizer bar. Removing/Installing the Rigidizer Bar on page 30.
6. Remove the seat pan. Refer to After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware
is tightened securely ‐ otherwise injury or damage may occur. on page 55.
7. Remove the back canes. Refer to Removing/Installing Back Canes on page 30.
8. Secure the right outer back bracket, uniwasher, and inner back bracket to the seat rail with two 2
screws, two .257 x .500 x .055 plain washers, two .255 x .625 x .109 plain washers, two cap locknuts.
9. Secure the back cane to the right outer back bracket, right inner back bracket with two inch mounting screw, two .405 x
.750 x .125 nylon washers, two coved spacers, plug, .392 x .688 x .048 washer, and locknut. Tighten securely.
10. Secure the bottom of the gas cylinder to the outer back bracket with 1
washers, two .317 x .88 x .125 nylon washers, and locknut. Tighten securely.
11. Secure the top of the gas cylinder and release lever to the back cane with 1
.625 x .505 plain washers, and locknut. Tighten securely.
12. Install plug button
13. Install trigger release lever. Refer to Removing/Installing the Trigger Release Lever with Cable on page 97.
14. Repeat STEPS 1‐13 for remaining back cane.
