NEVER

(5) WHILE TRACTION
FORCE IS APPLIED TO
BRAIDED TRACTION
CORD (2).
With no traction force applied, the length of the Braided
Traction Cord (2)
may be adjusted by turning the Max
Traction Knob
(4) past the 10 pound (4.5 kilogram)
setting to Cord
Release Position (5). (Note: a
mechanical
interlock prevents the Max Traction
Knob
from being turned past the 100 Pound (45 kilogram)
setting to Cord Release
Position ©)
For proper operation, the machine
reguires a partial
turn of Braided Traction Cord (2) on its take-up drum.
Therefore, if a longer cord is desired (such as for
lumbar traction), we recommend
the use of Catalog
Number PT-110 Line-Tite Clamp with traction cord
extension.

indicated by the Min Reset Knob (6). The Min Reset
Knob (©

and should be turned so that the white indicator line
corresponds to the desired setting between
5 and 50
pounds (2.3 and 23 kilograms).
For proper operation, the Min Reset Knob (6)
should
be
set approximately 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) below the
