Setting Zero Offsets

What is Zero Offset?
The common coordinate position from which a complete program is made for a particular compo-
nent is termed "zero point or program zero".
The program zero is located at the fixed position (center of the spindle) on the X-axis. However, the
program zero on the Z-axis will vary depending on the setup (incl. chuck, jaws, etc.) as indicated
with A' and B' in the figure below.

The operator can establish the reference point for machining (zero point of a program) by entering
