4. On the Panel Lock, select ON.
5. Click OK.
6. Check that is displayed on the home screen on the printer's control panel.

Lock Setting Items

When Lock Setting is set to On from the control panel menu, usage of the following items is restricted.
❏ Menu > General Settings > Basic Settings
❏ Sleep Timer
❏ Power Off Timer
❏ Date/Time Settings
❏ Language

❏ Operation Time Out
❏ Menu > General Settings > Network Settings
❏ Menu > General Settings > System Administration
❏ Menu > Maintenance > Power Cleaning
*1: If you do not change General Settings > System Administration > Security Settings > Restrictions > Access
to Language to Off, you can change the Language setting even if Lock Setting is set to On.

❏ You can view the following functions for Network Settings from Menu > Printer Status/Print > Network even
when administrator lock is enabled.
❏ Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
❏ Wi-Fi Direct Status
❏ Print Status Sheet
❏ You can perform Network Settings > Connection Check from the home screen >
When you cannot connect to the network, even when administrator lock is enabled.
