Secure earth cord 1 by using screw.

Attach electrical cord of power tilt unit to power tilt relay 2,

Attach bushings (2) 1 to swivel bracket 2.

Extend power tilt cylinder rod to align tilt cylinder rod and
swivel bracket.

Fit tilt cylinder rod by using cylinder pin (upper).
Tighten tilt cylinder pin (upper) securing screw 1 to specified

torque.
Tilt cylinder pin (upper) securing screw :
13N･m（9.4lb･ft） 〔1.2kgf･m〕

Unlock tilt stopper, and repeat tilting up and down outboard
motor to bleed air from hydraulic circuit.

14.
Check power tilt fluid level, and replenish if necessary.
