@ Slide lock
This stopper screw prevents the viewfinder from coming off
the camera.
@ Viewtinder shoe
Attaches to the viewfinder post on camera.

Connect to camera socket ®
@ CONTRAST
Controls the level of viewfinder contrast.
© BRIGHT
Controls the level of viewfinder brightness.
@ TALLY switch
Set this switch to off if you do not want to inform the subjects
by the Tally light that they are being recorded.
@ Tally light
Lights when recording is in progress.
© Eyepiece
Blocks light from viewfinder screen and holds eye optics.
The eyepiece can be opened to view the screen directly.
The eyepiece can be rotated up and down for the best
shooting position, or opened to view the screen directly.
© Eyepiece focusing ring
Loosen this ring and move the eyepiece backward and for-
ward to focus the viewfinder for the operators vision.
® Viewfinder slide locking ring
This ring on the camera viewfinder post can be loosened to
move the viewfinder to the left or right for the best operator
comfort.
Warning: Avoid over-heating if a light is mounted on the
camera handle accessory shoe !
Viewfinder warning indications
e Viewfinder Warning Lights
@® BATTERY light
This lights red when battery voltage becomes too low for the
camera to operate.
® REC/ALARM light
This light shines for these conditions.
Solid Green
: eWhile recording
Blinks Green : eWhile the VTR prerolls before recording
