Turning the zoom ring counterclockwise (as seen from the
front of the lens) while keeping this button (M) pressed,
allows closeup shooting at up to 5 cm from the lens. The
Normal Focus ring should be left set at infinity. In the Macro
mode, focusing must be manually adjusted by the zoom ring;
regular focus adjustment and zooming are not possible.
@ IRIS MODE switch
A : Auto iris On and Remote operation
M : Manual iris operation
@ MOMENTARY AUTO IRIS
In manual iris mode (M), pushing this button activates the
auto iris function while it is held down only.
@ ZOOM SERVO control
Pushing this lever in the W direction makes the lens move
wider.
Pushing this lever in the T direction makes the lens move
tighter.
Pushing harder changes the speed of the zoom. Turn this
lever on with switch @.

Mount a transparent or UV filter for lens protection by screw-
ing this screw into the lens hood's inner groove, or the front
of the lens.
Special-effect filters can also be used.
Filter diameter:

¢ Lens front
: 72 mm, 0.75 mm pitch
@® Rear lens surface
Protect with special cover.
